Sports

At Springfield School, we provide the children with as many sporting opportunities as possible. As part of our Sports curriculum, we offer the following clubs out of school hours:

  • Netball
  • Football
  • Dance
  • Cricket
  • Kick Boxing

Some of these clubs are open to specific year groups. In some cases, the children will have the opportunity to compete against pupils from other island primary Schools. We are proud to have won a variety of awards for our sporting achievements. If you wish to have any further information about sports clubs, please speak to our school PE Co-ordinator Mr Belsey.

Residential Trips

We pride ourselves on the very wide variety of trips and residential (overnight) stays that our children take part in. The fantastic team at Springfield make sure that children will regularly leave the school to visit local places of interest (churches, beaches, theatres, museums, other schools). But some of our most memorable experiences are through the many days-away! Crabbé Activity Centre, the Scout Hut, St Aubin’s Fort, Mont Orgueil Castle, Jersey Museum, Chateau du Tertre (PGL Centre in Normandy) are all recent locations of overnight (or longer) stays – fabulous experiences for everyone!
