Curriculum Vision Statement

At Springfield School, each child is precious and unique. They all deserve a curriculum that is broad, deep, engaging and personal.

We value a curriculum which promotes community, academic excellence, self-belief, resilience, responsibility and curiosity. A curriculum that is driven by our core values of Care, Aspire, Achieve. A curriculum that brings about children’s progress, whatever their starting points are.

The personal, spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of our pupils and their understanding of the core values of our society are woven through the curriculum.

Curriculum Aims:

Our aim is for pupils to be successful, independent and motivated learners in readiness for the next stage of education.
Each child at our school will develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes and understanding to make their own way in the world and to be the very best they can be.
Our curriculum will provide the children with a range of experiences that uses all that Jersey has to offer through visits, visitors and first hand experiences.
